Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

  1. Taqueria Frontera

I love Los Angeles. One of the best things about Los Angeles is the influence of so many different cultures and people. I was so shocked when I realized how much I missed being pressed up against strangers on the subway in NYC. I missed being one of many just trying to get somewhere. To me, food in LA is the subways of NY.

The carne asada quesotacos at Taqueria Frontera are heaven. I adore this Tijuana off shoot so much. Grab a taco, pull up a stool, and enjoy. Repeat.

  2. Dr’s Collectors

These are my among my favorite t shirts and sweatshirts in the game. Dr’s Collector’s started out as a French vintage store in the 80’s. I found out about them at Sunroom Malibu, because Lucy has incredible taste. I live in the french terry sweatshirts, the hemp striped T’s, the indigo striped pants.

Read about the family that started the brand. This story is a testament to loosing what we love most and keeping on going to honor that loss. #teddyforever

  3. Carriere Freres

Okay. I’m a little afraid of candles because of my OCD, BUT these smell so so so so so good. The Damask Rose and Amber are really tempting me to take the big leap!!!

  4. Herve Chapelier

These bags were EVERYTHING in 1999! I remember being in France with my friend and getting my first one at Galleries Lafayette, it was blue and periwinkle. I was so proud of that bag in my early years as an “adult” in NYC.

In 2018, I went to Europe for the first time without my mom. The two of us would sneak off to Europe once a year without anyone else. I would plan the entire itinerary; these are the happiest memories of my life. I would give anything to be bored at a historical site with my mom again.

I was so afraid of the great chasm of missing that would open up if I ever went back to Europe without her, so I went immediately. I was also so afraid to fly without a mom and a dad, so I flew as much as I could. (And yes I am still afraid of candles.)

On one of my many walks in Paris I stumbled upon the Herve Chapelier store and I thought, oh here we go!!! There was something so comforting about buying another one, that they were still there making two tone nylon bags just like they’d always been. Since that day I’ve had many; they are a staple piece for me. My favorite is 1027N and I always travel with a 913N.

They are way overdue for a comeback!

  5. What I Loved X Kind Regards, Jenny Newsletter

Honestly it’s become one of the highlights of my week. It’s a reminder to me how good it feels to actually do the thing that you’ve been thinking about doing for so long. There are still so many ideas that intimidate me, but I’m tired of keeping myself small, so I’m gonna try em all… in small baby steps!!

If you are enjoying the newsletter and you know anyone who you think would enjoy them as well, pass it on!!

  6. Michael Felix Ottomans

I’ve wanted a Michael Felix ottoman for a decade basically, and I am absolutely elated that I finally have one!! This stunning and super comfortable brand is my all time favorite furniture. I am super excited to see what he creates next!!

  7. My Thursday Thing

If you ever ask me to do something on Thursday evening I’m gonna say no. I’m gonna say no because I got my Thursday Thing. I am going to the South Pasadena Farmer’s Market. I am getting Deisy’s pupusas and flowers. I am in love with a ritual, because even on days when it feels like the world or my little world is falling apart, I can go see people I love and celebrate the whole universe in all the little details. The South Pasadena Farmers Market is my Wes Bently in American Beauty plastic bag moment, but every week.

  8. JOHN PROCTOR IS THE VILLAIN

omg omg omg. I went to this because one of my best friends told me I had to see it. She has never, in 25 years, told me to watch anything. I didn’t ask questions, I just bought a single ticket to a Wednesday matinee. I don’t really like to know what things are about; I like to be thrown into them. I had no idea who Sadie Sink was. I was in at the first moment of dialogue and I only got more and more in with every passing moment. It is one of my favorite pieces of theater EVER, and I have seen a lot of theater. There have only been a few times where I wanted to sit back down and start over immediately, and this was one of them. Am I going overboard? It’s because it deserves it!! Consequently that best friend also loves Overboard; stunning taste.
